After breakfast you will be transferred to airport to embark on flight for Guwahati. Arrive Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Guwahati is the gateway to the entire Northeast region of India and also a major commercial hub.

Afternoon sightseeing of Guwahati visiting Srimanta Shankerdev Kalashetra, a multi art complex depicting the rich cultural diversity and life of Assam as well as the North East region. This art structure has been named after the greatest Vaishnava saint and integrator of the Assamese society Srimanta Shankerdeva. Welcome dinner at a specialty restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

In the morning you will be transferred to the railway station for your train journey to Dimapur.

On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative at the railway station and then proceed further to Kohima ( 2 hours). On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit the Kohima War Cemetery, which was built in memory of the officers and men who made the supreme sacrifice during World War II. It is serene, beautifully situated and superbly maintained. Also visit the Catholic Cathedral at Aradurah hill, which is an important landmark in Kohima. It is the largest Cathedral in the whole of North East. Its quiet and serene ambience is conducive to meditation and prayer. It has a combination of the indigenous and modern architectural styles.

Visit the State Museum, which show cases in dioramas, some of the most interesting aspects of Naga tribal life in all its variety and wealth of tradition. Housed here is ancestral weaponry, carved gateposts, status pillars that record Feats of Merit and traditional Naga costumes. The Government Sales Emporium is in the heart of the town has a collection of Naga handloom and handicraft items.Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast you will be driven to Mokokchung 120 kms/5 hours away. This district is inhabited by the Ao Tribe. On reaching Mokokchung, check in at the tourist lodge.In the evening visit the local market. Overnight stay at the lodge. 
 

Today drive (215 km / 7 hours) to Mon. On arrival, check in at the guest house.  Mon is the headquarter of the Konyak tribe who wears traditional dresses with feathered headgear and have tattooed faces. Overnight stay at the guest house. 

After having breakfast depart for Longwa (42 Km/ 3 hrs). On the way stop at the bank of river Tapi / Taphi. The beautiful Longwa village is ranked among the biggest villages in Mon. As the village straddles the international boundary line, one half of the Angh's house falls within the Indian Territory and the other half in Myanmar. Here, literally, the totem pillar that juts out above the roof divides the house into two countries and the Angh takes his meals in India and sleeps in Myanmar. The angh and the village council chairman administers the whole village. The village has also become a major trade point between India and Myanmar. Thereafter drive back to Mon.En-route visit some other villages. Dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.

Today drive to Dibrugarh (190 km/ 6 hours) a historic old important tea town of Assam. En-route visit Sivasagar, the ancient capital town of the Ahom kingdom, who ruled Assam at a stretch of 600 years before the reign of British. The ancient temples and monuments like Ranghar, Talatalghar, Siva Dol can be seen. Thereafter, proceed to Dibrugarh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. 
 

This morning visit Jokai Reserve forest, explore the flora & fauna. Then proceed further to the Nam-Phake village where a community named Tye-Phake resides. It is said that about 1000 years back this community moved from Thailand and settled down here. After lunch visit the Monastery to view the life style of these local people. Drive back to Dibrugarh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Today after breakfast visit a tea garden for which Assam is world famous. Know about the process of manufacturing of tea by visiting a tea factory. Thereafter transfer to the airport for your onward journey to Delhi.

Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon check out and transfer to Delhi Airport to embark on a flight to onward destination.
