On arrival at Ahmedabad International Airport and transfer to Hotel. After check in, proceed to visit the Calico Museum of Textiles. The Sheryas Museum.The museum is open from 10.30am to 1.30pm and from 2.00pm to 5.30pm on all days except Mondays and public holidays. Photography is not allowed and visitors are charged a modest fee. In the evening proceed for dinner at Vishalla. Vishalla is a restaurant with traditional Gujarati food in village surroundings. It has Vichar Utensil Museum worth visiting. The museum houses a unique collection of utensils. Museum remains closed on Mondays. Overnight at hotel in Ahmedabad.
Visit the Hatheesing Jain Temple, built outside Delhi Gate in 1850 by a rich Jain merchant. Built of pure white marble & profusely decorated with rich carvings, the Hatheesing Temple is dedicated to Dharamnath. Later, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, a simple retreat, set up by Mahatma Gandhi in 1915. This was his first Satyagraha Ashram & for many it was the nerve centre of India’s freedom movement. Hridaya Kunj, the cottage where he lived is preserved as it was in the Mahatma’s lifetime. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
After breakfast drive towards Bhavnagar, enroute visit Lothal. Later proceed to visit Temple of Khodiyar Mata, situated 4 Km from Sihor.This is a famous shrine commemorating the family Goddess of the rulers of the former Bhavnagar State. The deity is held in great to the Indian black buck.

After breakfast drive to Rajkot, en route visit Palitana, a city and former princely state is a major pilgrimage centre for Jains. The Palitana temples are considered the most sacred pilgrimage place (tirtha) by the Jain community. There are a total of 1250 temples located on the Shetrunjaya hills, exquisitely carved in marble. After lunch continue drive to Rajkot. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed to visit the Kaba Gandhi No Delo (Kaba Gandhi’s house) and Rajkumar College (Gandhiji completed his secondary education from this college). Palki charges at Palitana will have to borne by the clients directly. Overnight in Rajkot.
After breakfast drive to Sasan Gir. En route visit Virpur- Temple of Shri Jalaram Bappa. Continue drive to Junagadh. Arrive Junagadh and proceed to visit Uparkot Fort and Mahaprabhuji’s Baithak. Drive towards Sasan Gir and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Sasan Gir.
After breakfast take a Jeep safari to the National Park. Best known as being the sole home of the pure Asiatic Lions. Arrive Sasan Gir and transfer to the hotel. Then drive towards Diu and take a guided tour of Diu, visiting the Battlement of Diu Fort, an expansive & imposing structure, situated on the coast of the island. Later you visit The Wood Panelled St. Paul’s & St. Thomas’ Churches. Overnight in Diu.
Drive to Somnath Temple, located in the Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval in Saurashtra, on the western coast of Gujarat, This is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga (golden lingas) symbols of the God Shiva. Evening free to visit temples & Aarti. Overnight at Somnath.
After breakfast drive to Dwarka, en route visit Porbandar – Kirti Mandir. Continue drive to Dwarka – visit the Dwarkadheesh Temple also known as Jagat Mandir, built on the north bank of the Gomti Creek. Another temple in Dwarka is temple of Rukmini Devi Temple, small temple is an architectural masterpiece. Rukmini is the most important of Krishna’s many wives. The temple walls are decorated with beautiful paintings depicting her pastimes with Krishna. This temple is said to date back to the 12th century. Overnight in Dwarka.
Drive to Jamnagar, well-known for its four marble Jain temples: Vardhman Shah’s Temple, Raisi Shah’s Temple, Sheth’s Temple, & Vasupujya Swami’s Temple. All were built between 1574 & 1622. Also known as the Jewel of Kathiawar. Overnight in Jamnagar.
After breakfast drive to Bhuj. Arrive Bhuj and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Aaina Mahal, a unique example of an Indian palace built in the mid- eighteenth century with European influence & Prag Mahal, built using the various type of stones available in Kutch region. This is a fine example of Indian craftmanship combined with European architectural design. Overnight in Bhuj.
After breakfast proceed for day excursion to Mandvi. Mandvi is located on the banks of the Rukmavati River, barely one km away from the Arabian Sea at the Gulf of Kutch. The town has a very pleasant climate throughout the year and was a summer retreat of the Kutch Maharajas. Visit the Vijay Vilas Palace. Drive Back to Bhuj and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Bhuj.
After breakfast proceed to visit the Khavda village and Ludia village. Drive to Hodka. Have typical Kutchi Lunch at Shaam – e – Sarhad Village Resort. Hodka – a cultural village is located in the Banni Grassland, right on the edge of the great Salt Desert – the Rann. The village is famous for its craft like Decorative Mirrors, Lamps, Hand Fans, Letter Boxes, Wall Hanging, Leather, Clay, Wood, Metal and Mud Work and especially the exquisite Silver Jewellery. Later proceed for overnight stay in Rann of Kutch. The Great Rann is in north Kutch – it has many moods and appearance which change from dawn to dusk. Salt crystals dazzle like millions of diamonds under the scratching sun. It’s still vastness is eerie under the bluish glow of the full moon. During a thunderstorm at night it flashes brilliantly. Rann is a vast area of about 4000 kms. Overnight tent in Rann.
After breakfast drive to Bajana, located near the edge of the Little Rann Of Kutch, the only sanctuary for the asiatic wild Ass in India. The highlight of this sanctuary is of course the Asiatic wild ass or Gudkhur that is endemic to the region & is one of the most endangered species in the world.
